Capital Structure Planning - BD 101 assists clients who seek additional capital: * with debt and equity evaluations; * and recommendations and plans to achieve their goals. The firm can also guide its clients through the difficult compliance process for debt. BD 101 also renders advice and performs financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
Risk Management - The firm's risk management expertise covers a broad spectrum of issues for companies. Risk management can cover: * company safety planning to reduce workers compensation risk; * reviewing and recommending programs for workers compensation; * assessing operational liabilities; * performing reviews of asset protection and coverage; * and assessing customer credit risk. Recommendations will have the aim to reduce exposure to liability risks and costs.
Assistance with Financial Institutions - BD 101 has contacts with many banks in Southern California and with many leasing companies. BD 101 also works with a software systems company and can assist in the selection of systems software. Many high technology and traditional companies reside in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Large public companies in the region spin off new technology to start new companies. These large public companies and substantial private companies utilize the products and services of many small and mid-market companies in the counties. BD 101 addresses this market. Board of Directors Services - The Sarbanes-Oxley Act was created for publicly held companies. However the Act may generate benefits for private businesses. Companies that want to grow and attract capital and resources should consider adopting some of the Act's recommendations.
